Hi all,

Sorry I haven't updated this thread -I've been asking lots of frustrated questions on the S2C forum, I know some of you go there too.

Main problem was a pedal height set too low stopping the fluid from getting into the mc. Then I had problems with too much air, which turned out to be the stupid brake bleeder someone had lent me "that'll sort it out", yeah right. It was sucking air past the nipples and I was just wasting fluid.
Then I got hold of a bleeding system that pressurises the reservoir and things briefly got better but still couldn't get a good pedal. Turned out I had leaks all over the place. Sorted them then the adjustment was way out, sorted that and the leaks came back..

Turned out I had two copper washers missing, one on the brake light switch and one on the rear three way. Fitted them tonight, renewed a pipe and rebled, adjusted the shoes and I have a pedal...for now.

Thanks again to all who helped and offered advice, I'm very very grateful
Ste
