Old Leafsprung Land Rovers

I had auto bleed valves fitted to my first 109  in the 70s.

Used to be advertised  'As fitted to London Taxi-Cabs'

Magic,  just undo the valve,  pump the pedal half a dozen times,  close the valve  refill  the reservoir  and so on. 

Used to get them from Halfrauds.        For some reason  they stopped making them.   They didn't have the self sealing  band  ....  so perhaps technology has caught up.
