Slight side track here but I'll get back to the point:
I used to drive a self propelled crop sprayer which had a floor mounted switch for knocking off/on the main boom flow control. ( so you could knock off the boom sections on the joystick one by one and so not get spazzy finger overload knock of the main switch by foot)
So, it gets used everytime you get to the headland turn and if you multiply the amount of times you turn by the amount of times you spray 4000acres during a season muliplied by 3/4years you get to a '
**** of alot' and the switch never failed .
The sprayer was (then) a Gem of Lincoln, latterly CaseIH and I believe the switch was a Durite one.
May not be rivet counting 'genuine' but if they can stick that and the mud n' water then maybe worth a look
