Yet more cutting and grinding today.

All the old trimmed away.

New steel tacked in.

I'm going to need to make a repair patch for the top edge as the new steel isn't quite long enough.

Alternative wheels fitted to clear the garage door.

Steering box off today, the ignition lock which I expected to be a pain to drill out the shear bolts was a doddle

But then to balance things out the foot well has fought me all day and is winning

Multiple layers of old steel held in with massive surface welds.

Arms like jelly from the grinder vibrations and hammering , back in a at the crack of dawn

It's three layers of steel in places but only two in others, and being the drivers side the I'm working cack handed

Another day grinding out.

And putting right huge mounds of weld like this one.

With a bit of luck I'll get the repair pieces made and let in on Monday.
