Ok, I’ve a
**** shocker on the back of Frank,
The shocks and parrotsbollocks springs are the same ones from when I bought him 13 years ago, DeCarbon gas on the back, standard on the front, springs of unknown manufacture.
The question is,
I’m going to replace the backs with another pair of gas shocks, but should I replace the fronts as well?
They’re not leaking, and seem fine, but what’s everybody’s thoughts on standard shocks with the afore mentioned

springs?
How does it handle with the std. shocks… ?
Seems ok, but then I don’t know any different!!

If money wasn’t a problem, this is an easy question, but my kids have no shoes

From Paddocks webshite:-
Pro-Comp £29 + vat each
Monroe Gas £29 + vat each
DeCarbon Gas £39 + vat each
(I note the Pro-Comp shocks are longer, I don't think need this as the standard length seems about right for my saggy baggy springs, rear shackles are about 45 deg.)
