Jeepers. I remember paying £35 for a UK 643.

Try my friend - Asif, at Filter Services in Leeds. 0113 2451643. Failing that, try Town Hall Batteries on 0113 2631616 they should be able to give you a decent price.

I bought a Bosch battery for the Volvo (105 Ah) from Eurocarparts, came in at just over 60 notes with Mercedes Benz club 25% off discount code - easy to find on Google, but if you struggle let me know.

You may think the price is steep; but you want to buy a battery over here in France...debt situation.

As for too big...my policy has always been to buy as many amps as will fit in the battery tray. You never know what bits and bobs you'll add or when you'll need them.
