I did my brother's Series 3 diesel by:

1. Start engine and warm it up a bit.

2. Stop engine and engage low 2nd.

3. Start with handbrake off and drive onto the flat (he had left it pointing down hill with the bonnet up for 2 years!

4. Turn off and bleed clutch until it felt right.

5. Re-start in second high and drive round field with foot on clutch pedal and blipping foot on accelerator and brake until the clutch freed.

6. Drive back to house with smug look on face.
