....manoeuvre the capless arms of the spider into your yoke, and gently press (by hand) the now greased caps into either end of the yoke....ensuring that they are square to the holes as you do so
....now put he yoke into your vice and GENTLY press the caps in until they are flush....make sure that as you press them in the spider remains central....take your time with this and it'll be a doddle
...once the caps are in flush you can then add your trusty 19mm socket to the vice to press one of the caps in further....do this VERY carefully and press it until you can see the circlip retaining groove is clear of the cap
.....once this is done, fit the circlip in that groove
...then turn the joint round and press in the other cap GENTLY until you can fit its circlip as well
...now remove the other two bearing caps and grease them as before to ensure that your needle rollers will stay happily in place.......
....now manoeuvre the capless arms into place into your prop ENSURING THAT THE PREVIOUS MARKS YOU MADE LINE UP!!!
...hmmm...the picture above should show my scribe marks, but this bloody camera is being a twat tonight.....never mind!
....now gently fit your bearing caps by hand, again ensuring that they are square to the yoke.....pop the prop into the vice and GENTLY press the caps in until flush
....next add your 19mm socket and press one of the caps in further, again until you can fit its retaining circlip
....turn it around and press in the remaining cap and fit its circlip.......job nearly done.....
....now search around for 30 mins for the bag that contained the joint and retrieve the grease nipple from within......turn the yoke round till you find the nipple hole and screw it in....don't over-tighten it as the nipples are fairly fragile and will snap if you get too heavy handed with 'em...
....finally take your grease gun and give the joint a good seeing to....
....now refit your prop and go and have a cuppa.....hope this was helpful
