Buy one ---- Mek a bastard

I got an engineering apprenticeship in 1966 at the age of 16, entering into the world of grown ups, hmm, well, working in a toolroom/fitting shop with about 35 men of different temprements was an eye opener, anyway to the title, one man who shall remain nameless, that was his motto, so carrying on the tradition he taught me, seeing the need for a salisbury diff spreader and seeing the cost of one, here is my effort

East yorkshire, would be willing to lend out if carriage both ways was met

As to use it enables diff gear removal so the bible says, the case needs stretching max 0.010" sometimes not required, ref Mr Eastwoods post on salisbury overhaul  :thumbs:

Nice work Redwinch. I started as an apprentice toolmaker in 1963 and have spent my working life making all sorts of stuff for my motorcycles and cars.
I retire after 50 years in mould and die making at the end of July. Not giving up though got myself a nice Bridgeport turret mill to go with my lathe in the garage.

Ahh not too far away then, I'm in Leeds, so could collect/return.

Mind East Yorkshire is a pretty wide area... :thumbs:

Nice job, nowt like making stuff yersen, got a gay diff to try fit in a case soon so might be making one myself, or possibly borrowng one  ;-) depending how it goes  :thumbs:
