I would the wires have been cut & joined at some point when the bulkhead was repaired... I gathered there should be a full trim bit of dash over the wires :
****: so I suppose maybe years of keys n shite being chucked in there will have chafed the wires through... lol re the fire extinguisher yes I saw one in the back when I got home but in the panic didnt realise it was there!! theyy do make a mess though!!
Anyone got a spare full dash wire cover trim thingy to flog me then
