I never fitted any to CliVE either and had the springs to full travel in Weirdale to no ill effect.

Never had any on wsl for the last 10yrs

Leave them off ...unless you have very old Dampers on (They lacked internal buffers ) then all they do is limit suspension travel .

Let me know how you get on Dave, I bought some five/ six years ago and still have not fitted them.

Slightly shorter than the full extent of travel of the axle before the dampers are fully extended.
The are there to stop the dampers being pulled apart.

How long do the check straps on the rear axle need to as the new ones i have are massive.
