Haunted Landy part two
« on: 24 February 2015, 03:45:37 pm »
after a period of relative normality,my 73 series 3 petrol SW is at it again...

battery powered clock has been working OK, but using batteries at a fast rate... then suddenly stopped, new battery, working great in the house, put it in the Landy, stops instantly, starts working the second I take it out!

I knew I shouldn`t have changed the old sealed beams for new halogen units... she`s been miffed ever since...

Hi, the clock is powered by its own internal AA battery.... runs fine when not in Landy, stops dead when in Landy.....

this is the third clock to do the same thing, all work fine, until they enter the twilight zone inside the Landy..... :o

  8) It's a good story to tell people, love it.  Its not a Ex James Bond 007 vehicle is it? fitted with some fancy electronic jamming device.

Just get yourself a bell, book and candle.

Then recite

Ring the bell, close the book and put out the candle.

Land Rovers are DIY maintenance after all.
