Dutch beer sign museum
« on: 20 August 2013, 02:01:56 pm »
Well I had wanted to get to this place for sometime now, and finally got the chance last Sunday. I love old enamel signs (although they fetch silly money in the UK) and this place is simply full of them - and they have a bar there too!!

www.bierreclamemuseum.nl/en

BBQ set up in the street!

Every bit of spare wall is covered!

More signs than they have space for

The beer garden is full too!

I used to drink Wielemans beer years ago when stationed in Germany. It was heavily subsidised by the Belgian Government for sale in their Army bars for the conscripts, but we brits could use their bar!

Its a fascinating place for anyone interested in such stuff, but only open on Sundays!!

Euro-leafing to infinity and beyond......
